Innovation 'IMPULSE' for stationary segmental crane waterwheel systems

A Cross Innovation Network Project

“Innovation ‘IMPULSE’ for stationary segmental waterwheel systems” is financed within the framework of the Cross Innovation Directive of the State of Saxony-Anhalt with funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the period from 01.04.2019 to 28.02.2022.

The “Impuls” network has therefore set itself the goal of jointly developing approaches and basic principles in order to develop high-quality, ecologically compatible stationary waterwheel systems of the latest design in interdisciplinary cooperation between developers, designers, craftsmen and plant manufacturers in near-series lightweight construction.

The aim is to maintain the existing high standards in terms of aesthetics, statics, safety and quality in terms of technology and equipment. At the same time new ideas are to be developed, how classical stationary water wheel systems, by modern techniques and technologies at the same time more economical and optically more attractive variants with new increase in value for pot. Customers could be replaced. In this way, Saxony-Anhalt is to set new international standards in the field of alternative renewable energies with a focus on stationary water wheel systems and lead an old traditional technology into the modern age.

In addition, in the network and with the participation of other supporting network partners, such as energy, Werkstoffexperten, landscape and
tourism experts (e.g., etc.), new added-value services, e.g., for the event/tourism sector, are also to be developed for the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
at the center of which are stationary water wheel systems.
