MIT Magdeburg was founded in 2000 as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer IFF focusing on strategy, management consulting and software development e.g. for production control and business process design.

As a spin-out of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, MIT’s business units always have their finger on the pulse. In its projects, MIT develops innovative and concretely implementable solutions as well as organizational solutions for industrial and service companies. SMEs see MIT as an important supplier of innovative know-how. Partners and customers of MIT profit from the experience and solutions of the interdisciplinary project teams.

The company’s range of services has been continuously expanded in recent years. Further fields of work of the company for customers are know-how-intensive services as well as the implementation of innovation and development projects. MIT Magdeburg works as a development partner in interdisciplinary networks such as the cross-innovation networks InnoBoot and IMPULS. In addition, MIT Magdeburg is currently supporting research projects and ventures in the fields of environmental, energy and drive technology as well as digitization and drone projects. MIT supports the design and development in the projects, realizes the sophisticated prototype construction of subsystems as well as the product protection and early marketing of innovations.
